The same eye. A different medium.
Research is one way of understanding the world. Creative work is another.
This space brings together photography, artwork, writing, and reflections created alongside my academic work. Some pieces emerged from conferences, research collaborations, and travel. Others grew out of quiet moments of observation, curiosity, and creativity.
Different mediums. The same desire to understand people, places, and the systems that shape our lives.
Made by hand, shaped by place
Photography, drawings, sticker art, and visual projects created across countries, conferences, and everyday life.
Many of these pieces began as small observations. A moment worth remembering. A place worth documenting. An idea that felt easier to draw than explain.
Together, they form a visual record of the places, people, and experiences that have shaped me.

Notes Between Places
A collection of reflections on public health, migration, belonging, language, and life between countries.
Some pieces begin in conference halls, research meetings, and community spaces. Others begin on airport floors, train rides, and long walks home.
This space is dedicated to the writing, reflections, and creative projects that exist alongside my academic work. Here, I explore questions of home, belonging, identity, language, migration, health, and the realities of living and working across different places and systems.
These are the stories, questions, and observations that don't always belong in academic papers but still shape how I understand the world.
Some posts are personal. Some are political. All are part of the journey.
